Today, I'm going to unfortunately focus on a big downer, but with some positive ups.. I had hoped to come back with some super awesome results from the last week, but alas I've run into a major roadblock. This past thursday I broke my foot. To be exact, I fractured the top portion of my 5th Metatarsal in my left foot.
Good news: It was my left foot, so I can still drive, and it's just a fracture so hopefully it'll heal nicely!
Bad news: No cardio!!! :( and I can't walk/limp on it yet, so I'm stuck using crutches, which is both a pain and a blessing. The first few days my hands hurt, and I got bruises under my arms from pressure of squeezing, now I don't feel pain there and at least I'm getting a wicked upper body workout everytime I have to go anywhere! (Good News!)
Bad news: No more training until my Doctor gives Lisa the 100% clear, and hopefully I'll be back with positive news on that front on thursday!
Good news: I'm more committed than ever to my healthy clean eating, as I'm aware every single thing I put into my body is really going to count because I can't burn the calories as easily.
Bad news: I can seriously see a HUGE difference in my muscles already, it's unbelieveable! My right leg, do to hopping and jumping, and basically keep all my weight on it for 5 days straight has some wick muscles going on... but on the flip side, my left leg who hasn't had any weight on it for 5 days has lost soo much muscle!
Good news: It's given my more drive to do some resistance training at home, so lately I've been laying on my back, stomach and side doing leg raises; I've been "pedaling" with my left leg only, as well as bent leg lifts, anything to try and gain some of my muscle back!
Oh, and I've lost 3lbs this weekend alone! But I'm not too sure how good of news that is, because although my food was been awesome, I'm fairly certain at least a pound of that or more is my diminishing muscle. (Bad news?)
